Julia J. Choo, MD

Dr. Choo is a board-certified physician in the specialty of radiation oncology. She received her undergraduate B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. She completed her M.D. at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Thereafter, she completed her residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Previously, her faculty appointments included Associate Physician at Southern California Permanente Medical Group in Los Angeles, CA and Assistant Professor and Residency Program Director at Northwestern in Chicago, IL.

Her clinical interests include breast, gastrointestinal, gynecological, and head and neck malignancies. Disciplines in radiation oncology include IMRT, IGRT, HDR Brachytherapy for breast cancer partial breast irradiation, HDR Brachytherapy for gynecological malignancies, and 3D conformal external beam radiation therapy.
